-New pictures from Big Leg Emma at The Great Blue Heron Festival, Sherman, NY
sweet_crowd_shot.jpgAmazing time. We played for between 3000 - 4000 people on the main stage on saturday evening and had a blast.  It was spiritual. And I got to see so many old friends and fans throughout the weekend. I'm loving playing with Big Leg Emma again.  Recently, I described the reuniting of the band to a friend as feeling like the second or third chapter in a really long book. Thanks to many people for these pics (Lori Savaree, Tiffany, Jeff). See pictures

nice_behind_lights_2.jpgWhat a great night this was.  Jamming in the woods with great musicians and great people.  We had a really nice turnout with 5 acts in one night. Again, Robert joined me on upright bass and another guy named Robert eventually joined us on sax too.  I think we played really well considering our minimal time on stage together.  A great time was had by all. It was a great night in a really beautiful space. The concert was well attended and put on by the good folks at Awendaw Green and Suncoast Promotions. -BLE to play Great Blue Heron Festival!  Reunions Continue!
Big Leg Emma plays The Blue Heron in Sherman, NY, on saturday, July 3rd.  This is a special for one for me personally, cause I haven't played The Blue Heron for four years, and it is a staple for americana and roots music in western NY. Fun will be had!  More details and dates on the calendar. 
Also, I posted some new video and photos from the first three reunion shows, which were all a blast, and really well attended. Check those out if you get a chance.  And thanks to all of you that came!  (Thanks GeneGene and Michelle for the videos. And Tiffany for the photos.)

-New Cd! Big Leg Emma Reunions! and New Website!
Hello. Well first of all, there's the new cd, "Hi Love", (have I mentioned it enough!?). You can listen to some of it on the listen page, read about how it was made on the making of "hi love" page, and see pictures from the studio on the photos page.
Also, I'm psyched to be getting back together with my old band mates in Big Leg Emma to do some reunion shows.  We're doing 3 concerts in Buffalo, Jamestown, and Erie and it will be a lot of fun! I've really missed playing with all of them, and am looking forward to it.  For more details on the shows, visit my calendar and/or Big Leg Emma's myspace site.  Also, welcome to the new website. It feels good to start fresh again.  I hope you enjoy strolling the new grounds.  I'll be touring a lot this year to spread the word about the cd and having fun playing music with Big Leg Emma, so check out the calendar for new dates.  I promise to keep this site updated, organized, and full of interesting information.  That I vow to you (salute). R.I.P. to my old site which I really did love.  Unfortunately, over time the old site got kind of messy, had some bugs, got outdated, and became hard to keep up with.  I did feel sad putting it to rest.  But, this new site should be fun.
