Bio
Kev Rowe has been a touring musician for 10 years doing over 1000 gigs either by himself as a solo musician or with his americana band, Big Leg Emma. "It's been an amazing journey so far", says Kev of his past 10 years as a touring musician. He has certainly met a lot of interesting and amazing people. Recently he opened for songwriting legends America and was asked to play the encore "Horse with No Name" to a sold-out audience at the legendary Birchmere Music Hall in Alexandria, VA. He also made his debut at the #1 songwriting venue in NYC, The Living Room, and also at the legendary spot, The Bitter End. Over the years he's shared the stage with an incredible list of musicians (see below).
Currently, Kev Rowe is releasing his third cd entitled "Hi Love" which was recorded at Echo Mountain Studios in Asheville, NC with producer Danny Kadar (The Avett Brothers, Trey Anastasio of Phish, and My Morning Jacket). "Making "Hi Love" was an amazing two year journey of recording for me. Every couple of weeks I'd go up to Asheville, record a few tunes with some unbelievable musicians and then come home. The songs on "Hi Love" are straight from the heart and describe the things closest to me", says Rowe. His previous cds "Into the Gold" and "Brown Book" have both won numerous awards in national songwriting contests (see below).
Kev lives in Jamestown, NY, home to a very fertile and loyal roots music scene. And when he's not recording or writing at home, he's on the road spreading the love with his personal tunes.

Reviews
"With his third release ‘Hi Love‘, Kev tells a story of hope, happiness, and overcoming the worst of obstacles. Inspired by working with autistic kids and Kev’s personal struggles, ‘Hi Love‘ gives us the real side of life. With tracks such as ‘Gently,’ and ‘Burn Away,’ ‘Hi Love‘ hits home and heart. ‘Hi Love‘ reaches out to the simple, and sheds light into the complex." -JK, TSAAM blog
